Scott joined Ragland, Strother & Lafitte upon graduating from the University of Texas in 1978. He earned his CIC designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors in 1981, his CPCU designation from the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters in 1983 and became an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) in 1989. Scott has been an active member of numerous organizations including the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas/Texas/America, the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, the City of University Park , the Dallas Country Club and Goodwill Industries of Dallas. His deep insurance expertise and in-depth business and civic involvement provide Scott with the ability to provide wise counsel on insurance matters to both individuals and the professional community. Scott and his wife Terry have two children, Matt and Kate.
