Janie, a native Texan, was born in Amarillo. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas and attended Richland Junior College. Janie has more than 25 years insurance industry expertise in Personal and Commercial lines and she has been the Administrative Director at Ragland, Strother & Lafitte since 1998. She has received numerous professional designations including Commercial Lines ACSR and General Lines License P & C (State of Texas). Janie has served as a VP and President of the Red River AFW Mini Users Group and is currently on the National Education Committee for the AMS Users Group, whose members number in the thousands. She has a husband, Richard, and two children, Robert and Caitlin who are both insurance professionals. In her spare time, Janie enjoys reading and traveling.
